Tiramisù Cake

This Tiramisù Cake combines the classic flavors of tiramisù into a delightful dessert. The cake is baked to perfection, soaked with warm milk and instant coffee, and topped with a rich vanilla cream. Finished with a dusting of cocoa powder, each slice delivers a creamy, coffee-infused treat.

Ingredients

Cake Ingredients:

  1. 2 eggs
  2. 1 tea glass granulated sugar
  3. 1 tea glass vegetable oil
  4. 1 tea glass milk
  5. 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  6. 1 packet vanilla powder
  7. 1 packet baking powder

For Soaking:

  1. 1 tea glass warm milk
  2. 1 teaspoon instant coffee or Nescafe

For the Cream:

  1. 3 cups milk
  2. 1 egg yolk
  3. A pinch of Turkish coffee
  4. 2 tablespoons flour
  5. 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  6. 1 packet vanilla powder

For Topping:

  1. Cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake as you would a classic cake. Pour the batter into a tart pan and bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 30 minutes.
  1. While the cake is baking, make the cream. Combine all the ingredients except for the vanilla and coffee in a pan and cook until it thickens.
  1. Add the vanilla to the cream and remove from heat. Stir occasionally while it cools.
  1. Once the cake is baked, use a toothpick to poke holes in it and pour the warm milk over the cake.
  1. Spread the cooled cream over the cake and let it rest.
  1. Before serving, sift cocoa powder over the top and serve.
