Crispy, oven-baked chicken pieces coated in a flavorful soy sauce and honey marinade, garnished with sesame seeds for added crunch and a touch of nutty flavor. Perfectly golden and deliciously tender.
Ingredients
- 300 grams chicken breast (or thigh skewers)
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Bread crumbs
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Marinate the Chicken:
- In a separate bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, making sure they are well coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Coat the Chicken:
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Take the marinated chicken pieces and roll them in the bread crumbs until they are fully coated.
- Place the coated chicken pieces on a baking tray.
Bake the Chicken:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Add the Sesame Seeds:
- Remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken.
- Return the tray to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
- Remove the tray from the oven and serve the chicken hot.
