Ingredients

  1. 3 eggs
  2. 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  3. 1 cup milk
  4. 200 grams butter or margarine
  5. 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  6. 1 packet baking powder
  7. 1 packet vanilla
  8. 2 to 3.5 cups flour

Instructions

  1. First, make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature.
  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until well combined.
  1. Add the 3 eggs and beat again.
  1. Add 1 cup of milk and mix again.
  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, and vanilla into the mixture and mix well.
  1. Divide the mixture into two equal parts.
  1. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to one part and 2 tablespoons of flour to the other part to create two different colored cake batters.
  1. Alternately pour the plain batter and cocoa batter into a cake mold, and use a skewer or stick to swirl the two colors together.
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 40-45 minutes.
