Enjoy a delicious and healthy twist on a classic favorite with the Healthy Big Mac Roll. This dish features a cheesy yogurt-based roll filled with seasoned lean ground beef, fresh vegetables, and a tangy sauce, perfect for a nutritious lunch.
Ingredients
For the Roll:
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
- A pinch of salt and black pepper
For the Filling:
- 100 grams of lean ground beef
- 1 tomato
- 3 gherkins (pickles)
- 1 small red onion
- Enough salad leaves
- Salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes
For the Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
Instructions
Prepare the Batter:
- In a suitable bowl, combine the yogurt, eggs, grated cheddar cheese, and spices, and whisk well.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave a little space around the edges.
Bake:
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) until the top is lightly browned (about 25-30 minutes).
- Remove from the oven and let it cool.
Prepare the Filling:
- Sauté the ground beef in a dry pan until cooked.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, then remove from heat.
- Dice the tomato, onion, and pickles. Slice the salad leaves into thin strips.
Prepare the Sauce:
- Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Assemble the Roll:
- Once the baked base has cooled, flip it over and gently peel off the parchment paper.
- Spread half of the sauce over the surface.
- Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef over the sauce.
- Add the fresh ingredients on top.
- Spread the remaining sauce and carefully roll the dough into a tight roll.
