Enjoy crispy chicken breasts with this fried recipe. Tender chicken pieces are coated in a flavorful batter made with cornstarch, flour, egg, and milk, then dipped in crunchy bread crumbs and fried to a perfect golden brown. Ideal for a delicious lunch or satisfying snack.

Ingredients

For the chicken:

  1. 3 chicken breasts
  2. For the sauce:
  3. 1/2 cup cornstarch
  4. 1 cup flour
  5. 1 egg
  6. 2 tablespoons vinegar
  7. 1 teaspoon salt
  8. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  9. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  10. 1 cup milk
  11. 1 clove garlic, crushed

For coating:

  1. 2 cups bread crumbs

For frying:

  1. Vegetable oil (about 1 and a half cups should be sufficient)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into thin, flat pieces. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce; I used a hand mixer to combine them.
  2. Coat the chicken in the sauce, then dip it in the bread crumbs.
  3. Fry the coated chicken in vegetable oil.
  4. The oil needs to be very hot. Fry each side for 3 minutes using tongs, then allow them to brown gradually.
  5. Enjoy your meal!
