Enjoy crispy chicken breasts with this fried recipe. Tender chicken pieces are coated in a flavorful batter made with cornstarch, flour, egg, and milk, then dipped in crunchy bread crumbs and fried to a perfect golden brown. Ideal for a delicious lunch or satisfying snack.
Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 3 chicken breasts
- For the sauce:
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup milk
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
For coating:
- 2 cups bread crumbs
For frying:
- Vegetable oil (about 1 and a half cups should be sufficient)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into thin, flat pieces. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce; I used a hand mixer to combine them.
- Coat the chicken in the sauce, then dip it in the bread crumbs.
- Fry the coated chicken in vegetable oil.
- The oil needs to be very hot. Fry each side for 3 minutes using tongs, then allow them to brown gradually.
- Enjoy your meal!
