Golden and crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, these Maryland-style crab cakes bring the taste of the sea to your plate, perfectly balanced with a hint of spice and a zesty kick of lemon.
Ingredients
- 450 grams crab meat
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Maryland-style seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs, mayonnaise, seasoning, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard until creamy.
- Add the bread crumbs and mix evenly.
- Add the crab meat and ensure it is evenly mixed.
- Shape the mixture into cakes.
- You can make 6 large or 9 medium-sized portions.
- Pan-fry in a little oil for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
