Golden and crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, these Maryland-style crab cakes bring the taste of the sea to your plate, perfectly balanced with a hint of spice and a zesty kick of lemon.

Ingredients

  1. 450 grams crab meat
  2. ½ cup bread crumbs
  3. 2 eggs
  4. ¼ cup mayonnaise
  5. 1 teaspoon Maryland-style seasoning
  6. ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  7. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  8. 1 teaspoon mustard powder

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs, mayonnaise, seasoning, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard until creamy.
  2. Add the bread crumbs and mix evenly.
  3. Add the crab meat and ensure it is evenly mixed.
  4. Shape the mixture into cakes.
  5. You can make 6 large or 9 medium-sized portions.
  6. Pan-fry in a little oil for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Serve with tartar sauce and lemon. Enjoy!
