Dessert
These cocoa biscuit balls are a delightful, sweet treat made from Petit Beurre biscuits, cocoa, and milk, rolled into bite-sized balls and coated with coconut flakes. They offer a rich chocolate flavor with a crunchy texture from the walnuts and a touch of sweetness, making them perfect for a quick and easy dessert.
Ingredients
- 1.5 packages of Petit Beurre biscuits
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa
- 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup of ground walnuts
- 1 teacup of chocolate chips
For coating:
- Coconut flakes
Instructions
- Break the biscuits into random pieces by hand and then process them in a food processor until they turn into a fine powder. Transfer to a large bowl.
- Add the melted margarine, milk, cocoa powder, and any other ingredients (except for nuts and coconut) to the bowl. Stir with a spoon until combined.
- Knead the mixture with your hands. If the mixture is too runny, you can add more biscuits gradually. If it's too dry, you can adjust the consistency with some milk.
- Once the mixture is well-kneaded, take portions of it and roll them into balls of your desired size. Roll each ball in nuts, hazelnuts, or coconut as preferred.
- Repeat the process until all the mixture is used up. Insert toothpicks into the cocoa biscuit balls for easy serving.
- You can drizzle chocolate sauce over the balls if desired. Enjoy!
