Chickpea Hummus

A classic chickpea hummus that's healthy, gluten-free, and full of flavor. Smooth and creamy, this appetizer blends chickpeas with tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and spices, topped with a paprika-infused olive oil for an extra kick.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup of tahini
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 teaspoons of cumin
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
For the topping:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of paprika
Instructions
- Soak the chickpeas overnight and cook them thoroughly. (or you can use pre-cooked chickpeas.)
- Peel the well-cooked chickpeas individually.
- In a food processor, blend the chickpeas with olive oil, tahini, crushed garlic, lemon juice, salt, and cumin until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving plate.
- In a small pan, heat the olive oil and add the paprika.
- Stir, remove from heat, and drizzle over the hummus.
