Ingredients

  1. 6 chicken drumsticks
  2. 2 onions
  3. 4-5 cloves of garlic
  4. 1/2 teacup soy sauce
  5. 3/4 teacup vinegar
  6. 1 teacup water
  7. 3 sugar cubes
  8. 1 teaspoon molasses
  9. 2 bay leaves
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the onions and garlic and sauté in oil until golden. Add the chicken drumsticks.
  2. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the vinegar, water, soy sauce, sugar, bay leaves, salt, and black pepper, then pour over the chicken.
  3. Add the molasses and cook for about 20 minutes, occasionally turning and stirring, until well combined.
