Dough Ingredients:
- 100 grams of butter or margarine
- 1/2 (half) tea glass of vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 (half) packet of baking powder
- 2 tablespoons of cornmeal
- 2.5 cups of flour
Filling Ingredients:
- 1 medium bowl of crumbled white cheese
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 green peppers
- 1/2 (half) bunch of parsley
Sauce Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt
Topping Ingredients:
- 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
- 1 sliced tomato
Instructions
- First, let's prepare the filling. Finely chop the parsley and peppers, and add them to the crumbled cheese. Mix well.
- To prepare the dough, take the room-temperature solid butter into a mixing bowl. Add the vegetable oil, egg, and yogurt, and mix a bit. Then add the remaining ingredients and knead to form a soft dough.
- Grease the baking pan and place the dough in it. Spread the dough evenly in the pan by shaping it with your hands.
- Spread the prepared cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Beat one egg and yogurt together, and pour it evenly over the cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F) for about 25 minutes.
- The dough should be golden brown and the filling should be cooked. Then take it out of the oven and sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on top. Bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheddar cheese melts and turns golden. Enjoy your meal!
