Enjoy tender roasted asparagus with a zesty lemon flavor, topped with melted mozzarella for a simple yet flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

  1. 10-15 asparagus spears
  2. Juice of half a lemon
  3. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  4. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 5-6 tablespoons olive oil
  7. Grated mozzarella

Instructions

  1. First, place the asparagus in a bowl and sprinkle with the spices.
  2. Add the lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (425°F) for about 8-9 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle grated mozzarella on top and bake for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and drizzle with extra lemon juice before serving.
